The task

The goal for this robot is to make risk-based work easier.
A large amount of inspection is done by stripping pipes to inspect their condition.
Our client wanted to install a sensor to measure moisture levels inside insulation
and they wanted a solution to make the operation safer and more efficient.

How we solved the problem

The MonkeyBot is a crawling type of access robot, with two grippers, and can be fitted with different types of tooling depending on configuration. Climbing, X-Ray, Drilling, you name it.

This is an absolutely essential criteria for the pipes not to rust on the inside, and possibly corrode.
