Modular Pipe Robot
The task
The client needed a solutions to perform maintenance work their cooling pipes by removing old coating and applying a new one. Access through the pipe was only through a manhole, so the design for the robot needed to be modular and portable.
How we solved the problem
The machine moves on belts, and is modular based on previously developed products. With this design, mobilization becomes both faster and safer.
This versatile design provides you with a platform for robotic operations inside piping.
It can be be rigged with different types of tooling, such as inspection, cleaning.
